Hey there, colleagues!

I’m Coco, a member of the China HR team and part of the Employee Experience crew. I first joined as a disabled intern with a mild visual impairment—clipboard in hand, and my head swimming with that universal worry: “Will I fit in here?”

Fast forward to today, and the highlight of my week isn’t crossing a project off my to-do list—it’s watching thirty of you turn into a giggly, tangled bunch of arms and legs as we pretend to shoot eagles with invisible bows.

Yep, I’m the one leading our Wednesday micro-workouts: 30 minutes of Baduanjin, desk-friendly stretches, and the occasional “was that a joint pop… or pure joy?” moment. With my mild visual impairment, I’ve often leaned on small bits of support in daily life—but here, that’s never felt like a barrier. What matters most is the fun we share in those quick, intentional minutes away from our screens.

My favorite memory so far? Last week, one of my colleagues confessed she’s been secretly practicing “Separating Heaven and Earth” in the elevator. She even demonstrated mid-conversation—earbuds still in—right as the doors slid open on three very confused visitors. We cheered anyway (and maybe recruited a few new curious onlookers)! That’s the vibe we’re all about: zero judgment, 100% curiosity.

If you’ve hesitated to join because you think you’re “not flexible enough,” trust me—touching your toes is overrated. Sharing a mid-week laugh with coworkers? That’s the real win.

Warmly,

Coco
