I joined the Foundever family in 2016, and currently work as a Senior Project Manager. People ask me all the time, “What is project management? What do you guys do?” Well, my official response is “integrating the people and the process.” The job ranges from task driver to cheerleader, and I love what I do.
I wanted to participate in International Women’s Month to encourage anyone looking for a way to #accelerate their career to consider a Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification. The only requirement is investing in yourself. Having a PMP Certification, coupled with a Change Management Certification, gave me a new outlook on my career. At Foundever, my projects in Latin America and the US range from building a new website, a new client launch, integrating innovative technology, certifying the company for other verticals and launching insurance licensing – just to name a few. Every day presents new challenges, and it’s never a dull moment.
Foundever offers me the opportunity to live and work from home in Panama. Which is partly why I have been able to dedicate time towards my personal goal of bringing a Marriage Equality case to the Panama Supreme Court. One day, I hope to be the first couple to have my marriage recognized in the Republic of Panama. Every day, Foundever empowers me to value the differences that are the cornerstone of building successful Project Teams.
