This is a different kind of story, at a different kind of time. None of us (unless we were around in 1918), have ever been through anything like this COVID-19 pandemic.

Some may think it’s cliché, but we are truly all in this together. Each and every person around the globe is affected by this pandemic in one way or another via governmental orders, where (and if) they are working, economic changes, etc. And, I anticipate we won’t bounce back right away from this. We have a long journey ahead.

However, on the bright side of this crisis, I have never been prouder to be part of a company that has achieved so much in such little time. We have all put our “day jobs” to the side as much as possible, come together and gotten things done that needed to happen – FAST.

Across Foundever, our people have exemplified our core values:

We have WORKED TOGETHER to keep our associates’ safety and well-being at the top of our priority and worked to keep delivering for our clients’ customers at a time they need us most; we have BUILT TRUST with our clients by moving tens of thousands of agents to work from home – even in cases where these clients weren’t prepared for this as an idea before the crisis; we have BEEN BOLD by making fast decisions, working cross-functionally and attaining goals that make us proud; and finally, we have WOWED CUSTOMERS – we have many customers – our agents, our teams, our co-workers, our clients and our clients’ customers – we have broken down silos and impressed each other across the globe by coming together and finding the best within this crisis. We are among heroes – our #FoundeverHeroes.

This is a hard time for all of us – both personally and professionally. I have tried to take this time to slow down, reflect on what’s the most important in my life and soak it all in while we’re ‘forced’ to be still. There are so many positives to this little sliver of time – more time with family, no busy travel schedules and less hustle and bustle of “normal” life. I hope that each of us can learn something from this time – except how bored we can be – and adapt into better versions of ourselves as a result. I may be an eternal optimist, but there are valuable lessons we can learn from this time of slowing down and focusing on our health and safety.

While we don’t know exactly what the future holds, we will get through it together – globally – stronger, smarter and more resilient than we were in 2019. Cheers to a successful 2020, even though that success may look a little different than it did a few months ago.
