David Gallardo

Mexico

My name is David Gallardo, I’m 26 years old and I’ve been at Foundever for almost 3 years now. I’m an Industrial Engineer in Management, so many have asked me before why I’m working in this industry when my career could take me in a completely different direction. I arrived at Foundever by chance. I had been unemployed for a few months, recently had moved back into the city and needed a job. In the beginning, they weren’t really sure about giving me a chance, considering I had already graduated from college and I was applying to be a customer service representative. I was able to convince them to give me a chance and soon after, I was sitting in training for my first campaign.

The managers at the time saw potential in me. I liked what I was doing and I always tried to help my coworkers in anything I could. A few months in and I was already growing in the organization. First I became a POC for our LOB, then I transitioned to QA, and soon became a Coach after only eight months of being in the company. It was a brand new client, so there were big growth opportunities. I was able to get certified as a Coach at the beginning of 2017. We had our bad times and good times and around April of 2017, the campaign ended.

It was tough, but they transitioned a few of the staff. We went through training and I went back to the phones for a little while so we could fully understand the product. I was going to be a coach for this new campaign when a posting for Process Auditor opened up. I applied and luckily got the position. Now almost a year and a half later, I’m still working on our CI team. I’ve become a GOS expert in our Mexico site, where we were able to get the highest score in our history last October for the Global Audit.

So many good things are coming, and I’m thankful every day for the opportunity Foundever has given me. Now that I’m part of the Max Community, I know that there are a lot of new projects that will bring great things.
