It feels so appropriate to share my story today since today marks exactly two years since I started working at Foundever! Now that I think about it and look back on everything that has happened during those two years, time really does fly…

My journey at Foundever started quite unexpectedly, and to be honest, I’ve never seen myself working in a place like this before I heard of it. The work I have done before was all manual labor. Well, not every job; I did try twice to make a living from art. We all need a way to relax after a long day, and drawing is one of my stress relievers, so to say. I tried selling the pieces of paper on which I have poured my emotions on, but I could not quite part with them and I eventually stopped. Another more effective way to release stress for me is physical activity. That usually involves either basketball or street workout, but it can really be anything from just a morning jog to any competitive sport.

From the first day when I started working here, I immediately fell in love with the job. The people, the challenge, the variety of daily tasks and the support I have from everyone. After a year, I became a mentor and was then chosen to be one of the supervisors for my team. I enjoy coming to work every day and working alongside everyone because my team became like a second family to me. I feel motivated to improve myself and do my best to help others improve; because I think that the work we do is appreciated and has a purpose. I have my management team to thank for that, as they are the ones that make me feel that way and have always supported my ideas and suggestions!

While I have learned a lot about the job itself, and have yet to learn many more things, I have also learned some valuable life lessons. As I strive to excel in my career, I became aware and had to overcome some personal flaws, which has helped me a lot in my own life.

I am looking forward to all the future challenges and meeting many new people!
