My parents taught my 4 brothers and me how important it is to earn your own money. They raised me always to be strong and independent. I had my first job at 17 while still in college. When I graduated, I started to look for a more stable job. My story at Foundever began in 2009 as a representative. I really liked what I was doing, it felt great to be able to help our customers with their concerns and I was really good at it. So my supervisor saw my potential and she helped me to develop and get ready for the next step. I applied to become a mentor and I got it. I had the chance to see the business from a different perspective by helping our own associates; however, I only spent a couple of months doing that because my new boss continued helping me. She encouraged me to become the second level of support, which was amazing. I learned a lot and I was able to be in constant interaction with our associates. After some time, I was ready for the next challenge and became a supervisor. I really loved it; working with a team, leading them to success was a very rewarding feeling, now many of them have grown and achieved their own goals. Today, thanks to the positive influence from many amazing women, I decided to challenge myself again and became a Manager apprentice. It’s a totally new experience, but with the encouragement, positive vibes and advice from all these amazing women I work with, I am on the right path. “When women support each other, incredible things happen.”

In honor of International Women’s Day, we’re highlighting the bold and powerful women of Foundever, celebrating that we’re all different, but equal. These are their stories of diversity, balance, success, gender equality and about leading the change you want to see.
