Hi I am Emily and I am a 26-year-old trans woman who is a strong supporter of LGBTQ+. As a trans woman, I constantly have to face having my gender quite often questioned or invalidated due to my voice (my voice training has not begun yet).
Luckily though I have good friends that support me and a job that helped me come out and finally be who I truly am after struggling with my gender identity for nearly 10 years.
Now I can happily say though I know now who I am and shall stand with pride in my stance as I move forward and hopefully I can inspire others like me to get the courage to come out and feel happy. It is a long journey but in the end, it will be all worth it.
