Hi, my name is Fabiola Medrano. I’m 21 years old, and I’m from Nicaragua.
I never thought that I would become part of a great company like Foundever. I remember when I finished high school, I decided to start studying English because I grew up listening to music in English, so I wanted to speak and understand it. In the beginning, that was my motivation. Throughout the time that I was studying, I heard a lot of good things about Foundever, so I changed my mind, and my motivation was to work at Foundever.
Once I finished my studies, I was excited and at the same time so nervous about applying. I was scared because I was 19 years old without any job experience. I’m also from a different city, so I was afraid that something bad could happen to me while traveling from my city to Foundever.
I remember when I came to apply I was nervous about the interview, but then I saw all the people working here, they looked happy and friendly, the guys from recruitment were so nice, they treated me like if we have met each other since a long time ago, so all my nerves were left behind.
I started my Foundever life in the FLIP program; I can say that I’m really thankful for the trainer that I had. His name is Jonathan and he taught me a lot of things about the call center environment. He also taught me to be confident with myself because when I started at Foundever, I was a shy person. After finishing the FLIP program, I had another interview to be hired for one of the campaigns in Foundever Nicaragua. When I finished the whole process and interviews, I was waiting with one of my peers for the results. One of the guys from recruitment called us into the office to give us the results. This guy played a joke on us, and he told us that he had bad news to us with a very sad face; he said to us that we failed in the interview and we had to come back after three months and try again. I was about to cry when he told us that it was a joke and we were hired for the campaign and this is something that I will never forget.
Now, I’ve been working at Foundever for one year and eight months. I’m thrilled to be part of the Foundever family. I started as a Customer Service Representative and after that, I was part of a pilot that was handling calls from our two different markets. Then I was part of the Email Team pilot. The client was really happy with the results, so the new LOB stayed in Foundever Nicaragua. Now I’m one of six Emails Specialist in my campaign and also I’m a MAX Insider.
I’m really happy to be here, thanks to Foundever and the people working here, I’ve learned many good things, I’ve met really good friends, I’ve learned how to work as a team, and I’ve enjoyed all the opportunities and benefits. I am so excited about the new things coming and for new experiences to share.
