I walked in through the front door of Foundever not knowing what to expect. I’ve never worked in a call center before, I’m really shy so how am I going to be able to sit and talk to people all day? Lucky for me I had an amazing trainer that took their time to work with me and showed me the ropes and helped to break me out of my shell. Learning that empathy and just listening to what the customers wanted, made my job a lot easier and made me more proficient at helping to resolve any issues I came across.
I spent the first six years of my career with Foundever in the Billing department and had the pleasure of working with many different coaches during that time. Each coach that I worked with passed on their knowledge to me which I, in turn, pass on to my colleagues for the past four years since I started working as support for the campaigns. Last year the Billing department moved out from Foundever and I made the move over to the Collections department. This was a stressful move for me because I had been used to doing things a certain way for the past six years and now I had to learn a whole new system and a whole new type of customer. As I got into the swing of things I realized that I actually enjoyed this new department and was again asked to do support.
Over the last seven and a half years I have worked with many amazing people and have had many amazing managers. The support team at Foundever is second to none and is always willing to help out. I am excited to see where the coming years will take me and what new challenges await for me in my career with Foundever.
