It was when I decided to enroll in Nursing that I realized that I have a passion for science and health. So BPO was never an option. Never did I bother to wonder how BPO works, and worse, with my ignorance, I undermined its ability to contribute positively to our society. If worse comes to worst, I said to myself, not even BPO will I take the risk to showcase my aspirations in life. Too full of myself that I’m stepping on someone else’s feet. Now, the feet that I stepped on were the same feet that helped me stand on my own.
Here’s how Foundever Magic worked in my life…
It was 2013, and job hunting was tough and cold for me. It was tough because of competition with other people who has more experience than me. It was cold because I didn’t have a choice. It was Foundever who opened its door to young aspirant professionals like me. Luckily, I got hired as an email specialist. During the certification, I did not make it at first with a 10% score (we have to get 90% at least to pass). So I did the retake and passed. Here was the start of me aiming to be promoted as a quality analyst. After a year, I got the post as an OIC. This incident taught me a life lesson that the first score didn’t matter; it’s the lesson learned that counts.
After a ramp of being a Quality Analyst OIC, here comes another ramp where I was scouted as a Learning Specialist OIC for consecutive years. Then, I was given a chance to become a coach OIC, where I experienced handling a team and understanding teamwork more. This is how fast Foundever delivers in terms of professional growth and character development. When I decided to grow my nursing career outside of work, Foundever did not give up on me. They evaluated my performance and gave me a special schedule that would cater to my school times. This gave me a chance to enroll in a Master’s Degree in Community Health Development and finish my Professional Education; until I got my second license as a professional teacher. Foundever made it happen. Foundever magic works. They value me not only as their employee but as someone who has dreams outside their walls.
I was able to practice my nursing career as a private duty nurse because of the two days off and vacation leaves offered by the company. The company’s medical assistance was excellent beyond comparison. It helped me pay my hospital bills whenever I get sick. Aside from hospital bills, the company offers monthly vitamins and, if needed, check-ups inside and out of the worksite. They serve as an ambassador of health to employees by providing healthy activities and assistance through their Maxicare, road to wellness, All is well and Zumba programs. They comply with the basic requirements of the government towards employees’ benefits. This assured me that with Foundever, I know I am secured.
When the most significant downfall in my life happened, Foundever came to the rescue. My dad was diagnosed with end-stage Chronic Kidney Disease, where it demands big money for operations, medications and accommodations. Foundever and Maxicare were with my family. They took good care of almost the entire bill flawlessly without hassle on our end in preparing and submitting documents.
Through incentives provided by the company, I was able to go back to school, while helping my brother in college with his finances. I was able to help my father with his maintenance and dialysis sessions.
When I weigh the good things with minor and sometimes immature bad experiences I’ve had, my six years with the company speaks to it. I wouldn’t have stayed this long otherwise.
The lessons I have learned from my team, the emotions I have shared with my workmates, the constructive pressure put on me by my customers are irreplaceable lifetime experiences that I will keep forever.
