Hello, my name is Matthias and after 14 years with Foundever, I have seen, experienced and worked with many, almost all, areas, services and facets of the company. (I thought!)
Life always holds surprises in store, whether positive or negative. In this case, just different and super versatile. Many innovations have always accompanied us day by day. And also now, at this time, which has changed so much for all of us.
It’s reassuring to work in a company that can turn the switch from now on and knows how to deal professionally with this somewhat strange situation.
All of us were searching directly for ways to meet all the requirements for hygiene and safety, to protect each individual and to keep the daily business running. This was successful. Thanks for that.
As I am also the safety officer at our Wittenberg site, this is, of course, particularly important to me at such a time. I also contacted all internal and external partners to adapt the structure “somewhat” to the situation. Special times require special measures. We as Foundever are very well positioned here and I was able to use and offer many digital solutions directly.
As far as concerning our business, I am very proud to see and contribute my part to the digital transformation of our company in order to provide the best possible service and secure jobs.
I am pleased that despite all the current drawbacks, there are also many great opportunities. I have also moved directly to work from home and provide daily support from home.
As I am usually on the road a lot around our site and also at the other locations, working from home to this extent, is also a new situation for me and requires many changes in the process. This is the challenge I am facing.
